Trying to get fit…

I have worked really hard to try and get in shape this year. My age finally hit me and I realize that it isn't going to get any easier. That being said, I have worked out more this year than the last 10. While I was working away from my family I was able to hit the gym every night for a couple hours. I did this for three months. My goal wasn't to lose weight but to get into shape. I didn't diet, just watched what I ate. That being said, I lost over 20 lbs.

My problem was that when my family moved out, I got comfortable again and literally just stopped going to the gym. I can make a lot of excuses but in the end it boiled down to time. I realized the error of my ways and didn't want to completely waste all the effort I made and have been using my lunch hour to go to the gym. I figured, it solves two problems, going out to eat fast food and replacing it with exercise.

I was wondering if anyone else out there has any suggestions to help get fit without taking too much time from family life. I realize the investment is worth the reward and I am sure that I am not the only one that suffers the question. I want to be around a long time for my kids and grandkids.
