The Mind of Mr. M

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain."

I have a coworker that has this quote written on the white board next to his desk. I really liked it so I thought I would share it with you here.

I think that all too often we spend our time looking at our trials and waiting, sometimes even hoping that that they pass regardless of how much time that may take. Some go through these experiences just watching the wick burn through our life's candle. I think I am learning how much is wasted by sitting back and riding out a storm.

Just like weather our lives are unpredictable, changing and evolving into directions sometimes we never expect them to travel. I believe that it is our choice to give up because of a little bad weather or continue the journey anyway.

Taking on a cliche, I think that it will be fun to tell others about your walk in life but its more impressive if you can say you did it uphill, both ways, in the snow...
